Wings of Compassion Inc. is a 501(c)(3) disaster relief ministry founded in 1982 by Karl and Dianne Riehs in Trinity, North Carolina. For over 40 years, we have served communities in crisis through our unique mission: using aircraft to bring hope, help, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a hurting world.
Our ministry operates through dedicated chapters across the country, made up of both military and civilian pilots who volunteer their time and talents to serve others in times of great need. Whether responding to natural disasters or humanitarian emergencies, our goal remains the same—following the command of Christ to reach the lost, serve the suffering, and bring healing where it’s needed most.
